This is my first post on thehaloislit.com and I must say I'm very excited. It's hard not to be, with the Angels playing so well and all, but I'm getting stoked on the fact that I was asked to participate with this blog, thus giving me a chance to kill two hanging curves with one swing. Writing and Angels baseball...this should be sweet.
What a weekend to start, too, as we have the Yankees(63-52) visiting for three games, and who also took games on Saturday and Sunday of last week to split that series. They've been kind of flakey lately, and apparently some people care if they don't make the playoffs. Those people also watch Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader religiously. I know i've really been missing home games where our home team gets out-cheered. Haven't you? Yes, I'm kidding and being somewhat bitter, but hopefully that can be just one of the many functions of this blog: make more Angels fans.
